NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme

Scholarship Details

Under this scheme, the state govt. would provide Free Civil Services Coaching to the students from Backward Classes. All the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), Kapu, Brahmin, Minority and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) students are eligible to apply. Govt. will sponsor all the selected candidates for 9 months coaching in reputed coaching centers for UPSC Civil Services Examination (Prelims & Mains). Starting Date of Online Application: 24 May 2022 and last date will be: 2 June 2022.

Award

INR 1,50,000 will be granted as financial assistance for the prelims and mains training course of 9 to 12 months. Selected candidates are eligible to avail of INR 10,000 for 9 months as an allowance to buy books, stationery, lodging, etc. One Time travel allowance of INR 2000 per student will be paid as Civil Service Coaching for the entire course period.

Eligibility

• The student must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
• Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any Recognized Institution. Final Year candidates can also apply.
• The student must belong to SC/ ST, BC, Kapu, Minority, Brahmin, or EBC Community.
• An annual Family Income of the candidate must not exceed INR 6 Lacs.
• For Kapu, Brahmin, Minority and EBC candidates, the permissible age group is between 21 to 32 years.
• For Backward Classes, the candidates must belong to 21 to 35 years.
• SC / ST Candidates in the age group of 21 to 37 years are eligible.
• For Differently Abled Candidates (PWDs), uper age limit is 42 years.
• Candidates who are benefiting from any other government scholarships are not eligible for the scholarship scheme
• Student scholars of the previous NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme are not eligible for the new scholarship.

• STEP 4: Fill the complete YSR Vidyonnathi Application Form and also upload the supporting Study Certificates.
• STEP 5: Click at the “Submit” button to complete the application process.
