Scholarship Details

Post Matric Merit Scholarship offered by The Human Resource Development Department of Sikkim. The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance for education purpose. Award amount will be given to the students studying in post Matric level.

Award

The selected students will get an amount ranging from INR 800 to INR 2000 per month.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Sikkim
• The applicant should have a Certificate of Identification of Sikkim
• Students must have secured at least 80% marks in the last qualifying examination

Documents Needed

• COI/SS Certificate of the student
• Student's 10th Standard Mark sheet
• 12th Standard Mark sheet of the student
• Mark sheet of Latest Qualification completed by the Candidates
• Pass mark sheet of the previous academic year of the student
• BPL Card/Income Certificate (annual income of parents from all sources not exceeding Rs.1 lakhs)
• Copy of Bank Pass Book showing account number and IFSC Code of the student
• Aadhaar Card of the student
• Fee paid details of the student
• Caste Certificate of the student

• STEP 1: An applicant have to visit the official state scholarship portal for the Sikkim State
• STEP 2: The homepage of the website will be displayed on Applicant's screen
• STEP 3: Applicant have to click on the Register Now button
• STEP 4: A new webpage will be displayed on the screen
• STEP 5: The guidelines for registering for this scholarship will be displayed on the screen
• STEP 6: Now applicant have to register yourself successfully by filling up the registration form
• STEP 7: Upload all of the documents and successfully submit the application form
