Scholarship Details

The scholarship is for Class 11 to Ph.D. students of minority communities. The selected candidates will receive financial assistance for their education including admission fees, tuition fees, and maintenance allowance. The main aim of this scholarship is to encourage meritorious students of economically weaker sections of the minority community to pursue higher education.

Award
  • Admission and tuition fee for Class 11 and 12 (Hostellers and Day Scholars): INR 7,000 per annum
  • Admission and tuition fee for technical and vocational courses of classes 11 and 12 levels (Hostellers and Day Scholars): INR 10,000 per annum
  • Admission and tuition fee for undergraduate and postgraduate (Hostellers and Day Scholars): INR 3,000 per annum
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for Class 11 and 12 including technical and vocational courses (Hostellers): INR 380 per month
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for Class 11 and 12 including technical and vocational courses (Day Scholars): INR 230 per month
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for courses other than technical and professional courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level (Hostellers): INR 570 per month
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for courses other than technical and professional courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level (Day Scholars): INR 300 per month
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for M.Phil and Ph.D. (Hostellers): INR 1,200 per month
  • Maintenance allowance for 10 months in an academic year for M.Phil and Ph.D. (Day Scholars): INR 550 per month
Eligibility
  • The applicant must belong to a minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and Zoroastrian/Parsi) of Karnataka.
  • Candidates who are domicile of Karnataka but studying in some other state, are also eligible.
  • The candidate must be studying in Class 11,12, Graduate, Postgraduate, M.Phil / Ph.D. degree / Technical / Vocational courses.
  • Candidates should have taken admission in 11th/12th/ graduation degree course/ diploma course/ master degree course or certificate courses as well L.L.B/B.Ed/B.El.Ed. after B.A./B.Sc./B.E. etc.
  • Minimum 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination is required.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should be less than INR 2 lakh from all the sources.

  • Aadhaar card of the student and his/her parents
  • Scanned passport size photograph of the student
  • Class 10th Certificate of the student
  • Bonafide Certificate
  • Previous year Mark Sheet (Only for Fresh MCM Applicants)
  • Admission Proof
  • UDID Number (For differently-abled students)
  • Stipend/Non-Practicing Certificate (For those studying in PG - AYUSH Courses)
  • PWD Certificate
  • Minority Certificate (only for Sikhs and Jain Shwetambara) 
  • Caste Certificate issued by the Revenue Department 
  • Income Certificate

  • Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
  • Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
  • Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
  • Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
  • Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
