Scholarship Details

Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC/SC/ST students, Uttarakhand scheme offered by The Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag). An initiative to provide financial assistance to the student's belongs to poor economical group, that they can pursue their higher study. Under this scheme, scholarship awards shall be given to the poor and deserving candidates studying in high schools.

Award

For SC/ST students -

• Group 1: (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, Technology, Management, Finance, Business, Computer Application, Pilot License students pursuing Graduation, Post graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral research) hosteler will received INR 1,200 and Day Scholars  will received INR 550 per month.
• Group 2: (Other professionals, Technical graduate, graduate-level diploma, Postgraduate, M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral research; CA, ICWA, CS courses students) hosteler will received INR 820 and Day Scholars will received INR 530 per month.
• Group 3: (All other graduate and above degree students) hosteler will received INR 570 and Day Scholars will received INR 300 per month.
• Group 4: (All below graduate, ITI, and diploma students)hosteler will received INR 380 and Day Scholars will received INR 230 per month.

For OBC students -

• Group 1: (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, Technology, Management, Finance, Business, Computer Application, Pilot License students pursuing Graduation, Post graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral research) hosteler will received INR 750 and Day Scholars will received INR 350 per month
• Group 2: (Other professionals, Technical graduate, graduate-level diploma, Postgraduate, M.Phil., Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral research; CA, ICWA, CS courses students) hosteler will received INR 510 per month and Day Scholars will received INR 335 per month
• Group 3: (All other graduate and above degree students) hosteler will received INR 400 and Day Scholars will received INR 210 per month
• Group 4: (All below graduate, ITI, and diploma students)hosteler will received INR 260 and Day Scholars will received INR 160 per month

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand
• The student should belong to SC, ST and OBC category
• Applicant must have passed the previous year examination
• Applicant should not be enrolled in more than one institution
• Applicant family income should not exceed  INR 2.5 lakh per annum
• Student should not avail of any other scholarship award

Documents Needed

• Applicant must have Income certificate of parents or guardian was issued by the Tahsil office
• Student's Caste certificate
• Student's Permanent residence certificate
• Mark sheet of the student of High School
• Applicant must have certificate of the current educational institution
• Student's Mark sheet or certificate of the last exam passed
• Student's recent photograph
• Student's Bank passbook of CBS account

• Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form
• Step 2: Applicant have to register yourself at the national scholarship portal in order to be eligible for the various scholarships presented by the Uttarakhand Government
• Step 3: Now, go to the official website of the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal
• Step 4: The homepage of the scholarship scheme will be displayed on applicant's screen.
• Step 5: Click on the Scholarship Scheme option
• Step 6: Click on the "Student Registration" option in the registration menu
• Step 7: Applicant have to Register yourself successfully
• Step 8: Enter all the personal details in the form
• Step 9: Complete the registration process
• Step 10: Log in with the login credentials
• Step 11: Enter all the information
• Step 12: Upload all the necessary documents
• Step 13: Click on the Submit button
