Scholarship Details

The scholarship is for the students of SC and OBC communities who are studying at post-matric or post-secondary levels i.e. class 11 to Ph.D. level. The selected candidates will receive variable benefits under this scheme for completing their higher studies.

Award

For SC -

  1. Maintenance allowance: up to INR 1,200 per month for hostellers and up to INR 550 per month for day scholars
  2. Book allowance of INR 1,200 per annum
  3. Book bank facility Study tour charges of up to INR 1,600 per annum
  4. Thesis typing and printing charges of up to INR 1,600
  5. Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
  6. Additional allowances up to INR 240 per month for SC students with disabilities

For OBC -

  1. Maintenance allowance: Day scholars - up to INR 350 per month and Hostellers - up to INR 750 per month
  2. Study tour charges of up to INR 900 per annum
  3. Thesis typing and printing charges of up to INR 1,000
  4. Additional allowances up to INR 175 per month for OBC students with disabilities
Eligibility

For SC -

1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana state.

2. Applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community.

3. Applicant must be studying in a post-matric or post-secondary level.

4. Students must have secured at least 60% attendance in the class.

5.Applicant must be studying in:

  • Institutions of National Importance
  • Central University/State University/Autonomous colleges recognized by UGC and Universities/Colleges recognized under section 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act
  • Deemed Universities
  • Private Universities recognized by State/Centre with A level or equivalent accreditation by NAAC/NBA
  • Private Professional Institutions affiliated to a recognized Central/State
  • University and covered by Fee Fixation Committee as mandated by Supreme Court
  • Recognized schools/colleges for Classes XI and class XII
  • Diploma granting Institutions as recognized by State/UT Governments

6. The annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh from all sources.

 

For OBC -

1. The applicant must belong to the OBC community

2. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana

3. The applicant must be studying at a post-matric or a post-secondary level of education

4. Annual family income of the applicants family must not exceed INR 1.5 lakh per annum

5. The recipient of this scholarship can not accept any other scholarship or stipend"

8. Income Certificate

9. Fee Receipt of current course

10. Last year Exam qualifying Certificate (Except for 1st Year Students)

11. BPL Certificate (if applicable)

12. Father's Death Certificate (if applicable)

How To Apply
  • Step 1: Click on the "Apply Now" button and read the details carefully.
  • Step 2: Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family Id), a list of members will be displayed, select the name of the applicant, and click on the "Generate OTP" button.
  • Step 3: Enter the OTP received on the registered Mobile No.
  • Step 4: After OTP Verification, Select the Department and College, create a password and click on the "Register" button.
  • Step 5: Click the login link at the portal and enter valid credentials to apply.
  • Step 6: Provide all necessary details.
  • Step 7: Click on the “Apply” button to save the application.
