Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Scholarship Details

Financial assistance for the students who have passed class 10th and currently studying in class 11th to Ph.D. level. Selected students will receive variable awards for pursuing their higher studies. This scholarship aims to help disabled students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary states to enable them to complete education. Candidates who are suffering from any of the disabilities can apply for this scheme.

Award
  • Maintenance allowance:

Hosteller - INR 900 to INR 1600

Day scholar - INR 550 to INR 750

  • Disability allowance:

Visually Impaired - Rs.4000 per annum

Hearing Impaired - Rs.2000 per annum

Physically Disabled (OH) - Rs.2000 per annum

Intellectual Disabilities - Rs.4000 per annum

All other types of disability not covered under above - Rs.2000 per annum

  • Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees: Enrolment/Registration, Tuition, Games, Union, Library, Magazine, Medical Examination, and such other fees up to Rs. 1.5 lakh per annum.
  • Book allowance: Rs.1500 / – per annum
Eligibility
  • Applicants must have passed class 10th/Secondary examination from school recognized by state or central board
  • Applicants must have taken admission in 11th/12th/ graduation degree course/ diploma course/ master degree course or certificate courses
  • Students who are pursuing L.L.B / B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. after B.A./B.Sc./B.E. etc. are eligible
  • Family income of the applicant should not exceed 2.5 Lakh per annum

  • Step 2: Go to the New registration option
  • Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
  • Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
  • Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
  • Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
  • Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
