Scholarship Details

The scheme is for those who are pursuing studies after Class 10 towards higher education. The scholarship aims to provide financial help to ST students from financially underprivileged backgrounds. Multiple awards are provide to the selected scholars.

Award

The selected scholar will receive the following benefits:-

For Hostellers/Day Scholars-

• Group 1: INR 550 to 1,200
• Group 2: INR 530 to 820
• Group 3: INR 300 to 570
• Group 4: INR 230 to 380

In addition Reader Allowance-

• Group1-2: INR 240
• Group 3: INR 200
• Group 4: INR 160

Escort Allowance- INR 160 per month

Special Pay- INR 160

For Mentally retired, extra coaching- INR 240 per month

Study Tours- INR 1,600 per annum

Thesis Typing/Printing- INR 1,600 per annum

Book Grant- INR 1,200 per annum

Eligibility

• Candidate must belong to Scheduled Tribe Category of Maharashtra
• Candidate must have passed Class 10
• Candidate have an annual family income of less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh
• Candidate not have a backdrop of 2 or more years in their formal education

• Income Certificate
• Previous year's marksheet
• Caste validity certificate

How To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form.

Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'.

Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.

Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.

Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.

Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.

Step 7: Log in using the username and password.

Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload necessary documents and submit.
