Post Matric scholarship to SC/ST/OBC Students

Scholarship Details

The scholarship scheme provides financial assistance to the students who are belonging from SC/ST/OBC category and are studying in 11 to P.hD. course. The selected students will receive variable financial support for their education. The main aim of this scheme is to encourage parents to send their children to school in a regular basis for good education.

Award

For SC Students-

• Scholarship amount - Day scholar up to Rs.550
• Scholarship amount - Hosteller up to Rs.1200

For ST Students-

• Hosteller will get up to INR 1,200 per month as Maintenance allowance
• Day scholars will get up to INR 550 per month
• ST students with disabilities will get up to INR 240 per month as additional provision
• Students will get up to INR 1,600 per annum for Study tour charges
• Thesis typing/printing charges up to INR 1,600 per annum
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
• Students pursuing correspondence courses

For OBC Students-

• Hosteller will get Maintenance allowance up to INR 750 per month
• Day scholars will get Maintenance allowance up to INR 350 per month
• Additional provision for OBC students with disabilities of up to INR 240 per month
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
• For Study tour charges up to INR 1,000 per annum

Eligibility

• Student must be domicile of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
• Student must be studying in Class 11 to postdoctoral level
• Students must belong to SC/ST/OBC category
• Annual family income of the Students should not exceed INR 1.50 lakh for SC and OBC community students.
• Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2.50 lakh for ST community students.

Documents Needed

• Passport size photograph of the student
• Income declaration
• Students Caste certificate
• Students must have Certificates, diploma, degree, etc. of previously passed examination
• Aadhar Card of the student
• Bank account Passbook
• Self-declaration certificate

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
• Step 2: As you get instructions will appear on the screen, read the instructions very carefully
• Step 3: Select continue button and application form will appear on the screen
• Step 4: Fill up the all required details as mentions
• Step 5: Enter the captcha code shown on the screen and press register button
• Step 6: Now login with the portal by using your login ID and choose apply button
• Step 7: Select the scheme to apply for and for the application will appear
• Step 8: Complete the application form, upload the documents as required and click submit button
• Step 9: Take print of the filled application for further use
