Scholarship Details

This scholarship is for minority students of Class 11 and above. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to those who are in post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them for completing their education. Objective of this scholarship is to encourage meritorious students of economically weaker sections of the minority community to pursue higher education.

Award
  • INR 7000 per annum for Classes 11 and 12
  • INR 10,000 per annum for technical and vocational courses of Classes 11 and 12
  • INR 3000 per annum for undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Maintenance allowance of up to INR 1200 per month for 10 months
Eligibility
  • The applicant must belong to the minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain & Zoroastrian/Parsi) and a native of Goa.
  • Must be studying in class 11th, 12th, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M.Phil. or Ph.D.
  • Must have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent in their previous examination.
  • The annual income of the appellant’s family must not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources.

  • Income certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Bank account details of the applicant (linked with Aadhaar)

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP
  • Step 2: Go to the New registration option
  • Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
  • Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
  • Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
  • Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
  • Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
