Scholarship Details

Pre-Matric SC Cleaning and Health Hazard Scholarship, Tripura is especially for those students who are involved in occupations like cleaning and prone health hazard. This has been launched by the Government of Tripura. The government will provide many facilities to the students who at a Pre Matric level. Students who are belong to the SC category are eligible for this scholarship. Main aim of this scholarship is to provide financial services to the students who are not able to pay the higher fees of their schools and colleges. Through this scholarship, the dropout rate in Tripura will decrease as well as literacy ratio is also increase with the help of this scholarship. The students who are living in Tripura can take the advantage of this scholarship.

Award

• Students of class 3rd to 10th living in Hostels will receive INR 700 per month for a complete 10 months.
• Day Scholars between class 1st to 10th will receive INR 225 per month for around 10 months.
• Ad HOC grant will provide INR 750 to Day scholars and INR 1000 to students living in a hostel.

Eligibility

• The student must be a citizen of India.
• Domicile certificate of Tripura is necessary to apply for this scholarship.
• The student must be studying in any class between 1st to 10th.
• A student must be the child of a person involved in manual scavenging, or the guardians of the child must be flayers, waste pickers, or are engaged in a hazardous health occupation.

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
• Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking and 'Continue'.
• Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
• Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
• Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
• Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
• Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
• Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
