Scholarship Details
Pre-Matric Scholarship is provided by West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation under State Government of West Bengal. The primary objective of this scheme is to encourage the minority community students for going to school and thus prevent the number of drop-outs. Students who are in Class 9th and Class 10th can apply for this scholarship program to get the benefit of financial assistance.
Award
- For Hostelers -
- 6 to 10 classes Admission fee & tuition fee waiver is Rs. 4400 and Maintenance
- Allowance waiver is Rs. 6600
- For Day Scholars-
- 1 to 5 Classes Maintenance Allowance waiver is Rs. 1100
- 6 to 10 Classes Admission fee & tuition fee waiver is Rs. 4400 and Maintenance
- Allowance waiver is Rs. 1100
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
- He/she must be a student of Class 9 or 10.
- They must belong to either SC or ST category.
- The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
Documents Needed
- Self-certified community certificate.
- Family Income certificate of the applicant.
- Fee receipt of the current course year.
- Ration Card.
- Self-attested certificate of previous year’s mark sheet of the students.
- The applicant must have Residential/Domicile certificate.
- Bank account details.
- Passport size photo of the applicant.
