Scholarship Details

Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students(State and Central Sector), is offered by The Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. An initiative to financially support to the needy student who are not able to pursue their education. In the funding of the scholarship amount there will be 50% participation of the state government and 50% participation of the central Government. The selected students will receive up to INR 1,000 per annum.

Award

• Students who are in Class 3 to 5 will received INR 600 per year
• Students who are in Class 6 to 8 will received INR 960 per year
• Students who are in Class 9 to 10  will received INR 1000 per year

Eligibility

• Students must be Indian
• Applicant should belong to OBC category
• Students must be permanent resident of Uttarakhand
• Students must have passed the previous year examination
• Applicant must have studying in Class 1 to 10 in a state-recognized school
• Student annual family income should not more than INR 44.500

Documents Needed

• Domicile certificate of the student
• Student's Caste certificate
• Income certificate of the parents
• Student's Academic certificates, as applicable
• Student's recent passport size photograph
• Applicant Aadhaar enrolment ID or scanned copy of bank passbook

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form
• Step 2: Applicant have to register yourself at the national scholarship portal in order to be eligible for the various scholarships presented by the Uttarakhand Government
• Step 3: Now, go to the official website of the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal
• Step 4: The homepage of the scholarship scheme will be displayed on applicant's screen.
• Step 5: Click on the Scholarship Scheme option
• Step 6: Click on the "Student Registration" option in the registration menu
• Step 7: Applicant have to Register yourself successfully
• Step 8: Enter all the personal details in the form
• Step 9: Complete the registration process
• Step 10: Log in with the login credentials
• Step 11: Enter all the information
• Step 12: Upload all the necessary documents
• Step 13: Click on the Submit button
