Backward Classes Welfare Department and tribal development department, Government of West Bengal provides Pre-matric scholarship to the students of West Bengal through Oasis Scholarship Portal. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial support to a meritorious, economically weak student who belongs to the ST category. The ST students who are currently studying in classes 9th and 10th can apply for this scholarship.
Award
- Day Scholars: INR 150 - INR 750.
- Hostellers: INR 750 - INR 1,000.
Eligibility
- Students must belong to the ST category.
- Students in the 9th and 10th classes can apply for it.
- The annual income of the family or guardian should not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources of income.
Documents Needed
- West Bengal Domicile Certificate of the student.
- Caste Certificate, Birth Certificate, and Income Certificate.
- Aadhaar Card Or Any Other Government Proof Of ID.
- Address Proof of the candidate.
- Passport Size Photo Of The Candidate.
- Mark Sheet Of Previous Qualifying Examination.
- Bank Passbook Showing Bank Name, Branch, IFSC Code, Account Number, and Beneficiary Name.
