Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students (State Sector)

Scholarship Details

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students, Uttarakhand scheme is provided by The Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. Main initiative to provide financial assistance to the student's belongs to poor economical group, that they can pursue their higher study. The selected students will get up to INR 3,500 every year.

Award

• Students who are in Class 1 - 5 will receive INR 600 per annum
• Students who are in Class 6 - 8 will receive INR 720 per annum
• Students who are in Class 9 - 10 will receive INR 1,500 per annum
• Hosteller students of Class 9 - 10 will receive INR 3,500 per annum

Eligibility

• Students must be Indian
• Students should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
• Students must be permanent resident of Uttarakhand
• Students must have passed the previous year examination
• Students must have studying in Class 1 to 10 in a state-recognized school
• Students annual family income should not more than INR 2 lakh (applicable only for Class 9 and 10 students and there will be no income limit for students of Class 1 to 8)

Documents Needed

• Domicile certificate of the student
• Student's Caste certificate
• Income certificate of the parents
• Student's Academic certificates, as applicable
• Applicant Aadhaar enrolment ID or scanned copy of bank passbook

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form
• Step 2: Applicant have to register yourself at the national scholarship portal in order to be eligible for the various scholarships presented by the Uttarakhand Government
• Step 3: Now, go to the official website of the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal
• Step 4: The homepage of the scholarship scheme will be displayed on applicant's screen.
• Step 5: Click on the Scholarship Scheme option
• Step 6: Click on the "Student Registration" option in the registration menu
• Step 7: Applicant have to Register yourself successfully
• Step 8: Enter all the personal details in the form
• Step 9: Complete the registration process
• Step 10: Log in with the login credentials
• Step 11: Enter all the information
• Step 12: Upload all the necessary documents
• Step 13: Click on the Submit button
