Pre Matric Scholarship for ST Students

Scholarship Details

The scholarship is providing financial benefits to economically weak students for Pre Matric level education and thus encouraging them to study further without any financial burden. This scholarship provided by The Social Justice Empowerment and Welfare Department. Under this scheme students will be benefited variable awards.

Selected Students will get variable awards under this scheme.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a domicile of Sikkim
• Applicant should belongs to ST community
• Applicant should be studying in classes 1 to 10
• Students belongs to a family where annual family income should be less than INR 2.5 Lakh

Documents Needed

• COI/SS Certificate of the student
• Student's 10th Standard Mark sheet
• 12th Standard Mark sheet of the student
• Mark sheet of Latest Qualification completed by the Candidates
• Pass mark sheet of the previous academic year of the student
• BPL Card/Income Certificate (annual income of parents from all sources not exceeding Rs.1 lakhs)
• Copy of Bank Pass Book showing account number and IFSC Code of the student
• Aadhaar Card of the student
• Fee paid details of the student
• Caste Certificate of the student

How To Apply

• STEP 1: An applicant have to visit the official state scholarship portal for the Sikkim State
• STEP 2: The homepage of the website will be displayed on Applicant's screen
• STEP 3: Applicant have to click on the Register Now button
• STEP 4: A new webpage will be displayed on the screen
• STEP 5: The guidelines for registering for this scholarship will be displayed on the screen
• STEP 6: Now applicant have to register yourself successfully by filling up the registration form
• STEP 7: Upload all of the documents and successfully submit the application form
