Scholarship Details

Financial assistance will be provided to SC, ST and OBC category students who are studying in class 1st to class 10th. This scholarship aims to support the education of needy students and thus minimizing the incidence of drop-out in the transition from elementary to secondary education.

Award

For SC -

  • Day scholars: INR 150 per month for 10 months.
  • Hostellers: INR 350 per month for 10 months.
  • Books and Adhoc grant of INR 750 per annum and INR 1,000 per annum.
  • Additional allowances of up to INR 240 will be given to disabled students.

For ST -

  • INR 150 per month to day scholars and INR 350 per month to hostellers.
  • Book and Ad hoc grant of INR 750 per annum to day scholars and INR 1,000 per annum to hostellers.
  • Additional allowances of up to INR 240 per month to students with disability.

For OBC -

  • class 1 to 5 - INR 25 per month to the day scholar for 10 months.
  • class 3 to 8 - INR 200 per month to hostellers for 10 months.
  • class 6 to 8 - INR 40 per month to the day scholar for 10 months.
  • class 9 and 10 - INR 50 per month to the day scholar for 10 months.
  • class 9 and 10 - INR 250 per month to hostellers for 10 months.
  • An ad-hoc grant of INR 500 per annum for both hostellers and day scholars.
Eligibility
  • Applicants should be a domicile of Manipur.
  • Applicants must belong to SC/ST/OBC community.
  • Applicants must be studying in class 9th-10th for SC/ST students and class 1st to 10th for OBC students as a regular, full-time student at a Government School or a recognized school.
  • Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh for SC and OBC community students.
  • Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2 lakh for ST community students.

  • Step 2: Go to the New registration option
  • Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
  • Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
  • Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
  • Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
  • Step 7: Submit the form and take print out for further use
