Scholarship Details

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority (100 percent State Sector), is provided by Minority Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The aim of this scholarship is to provide financial help to the needy students belonging from Minority community. Selected students will receive a scholarship amount up to INR 120 per month.

Award

• Students are in Class 1 to 5 will receive INR 50 per month
• Students are in Class 6 to 8 will receive INR 80 per month
• Students are in Class 9 and 10 will receive INR 120 per month

Eligibility

• Students must be permanent resident of Uttarakhand
• Applicant must have studying within the state at a recognized Institution
• Student must belong to Minority communities (Muslim, Christianity, Parse, Sikh, Buddhism, Jain)
• Students must have passed the previous year examination
• Students belong to a family where the annual income not more than twice the current below poverty line income slab
• Applicant should not avail any other scholarship in the given academic year
• Student should not studying in more than one institute in an academic session

Documents Needed

• Domicile certificate of the student
• Student's Aadhaar Card / Aadhaar Enrolment Number
• Income certificate of the parents
• Recent passport size photograph of the student
• Copy of first page of account holding bank passbook in the name of joint account with student or parents

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form
• Step 2: Applicant have to register yourself at the national scholarship portal in order to be eligible for the various scholarships presented by the Uttarakhand Government
• Step 3: Now, go to the official website of the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal
• Step 4: The homepage of the scholarship scheme will be displayed on applicant's screen.
• Step 5: Click on the Scholarship Scheme option
• Step 6: Click on the "Student Registration" option in the registration menu
• Step 7: Applicant have to Register yourself successfully
• Step 8: Enter all the personal details in the form
• Step 9: Complete the registration process
• Step 10: Log in with the login credentials
• Step 11: Enter all the information
• Step 12: Upload all the necessary documents
• Step 13: Click on the Submit button
