Pre Matric Scholarship To SC,ST,OBC Students

Scholarship Details

This scholarship will be provided SC,ST,OBC category students of class 1st to 10th for pursuing their studies. The main aim of this scheme is to encourage parents to send their children to school in a regular basis for good education. The government will take the initiative to provide monetary help for the students who want to pursue their education.

Award

For SC Students:

• Day scholars will get INR 225 per month for 10 months
• Monthly scholarship for hostellers will get INR 525 per month (for 10 months)
• Ad-hoc grant of INR 700 per annum

For ST Students:

• Monthly scholarship for hostellers: INR 350 per month for 10 months
• Monthly scholarship for day scholars: INR 150 per month for 10 months
• Books and Ad hoc Grant for hostellers: INR 1,000 per annum
• Books and Ad hoc Grant for day scholars: INR 750 per annum
• The students studying in private unaided recognised schools will receive the following allowance -
  
  • Monthly Reader Allowance: INR 160
  • Monthly Transport Allowance: INR 160
  • Monthly Escort Allowance: INR 160
  • Monthly Helper Allowance: INR 160
  • Monthly Coaching Allowance: INR 240

For OBC Students:

• Monthly scholarship for hostellers who are in Class 3 to 10 : INR 500 per month (for 10 months)
• Monthly scholarship for day scholars who are in Class1 to 10: INR 100 per month (for 10 months)
• Ad-hoc grant: INR 500 per annum

Eligibility

• Applicants must be a domicile of Dadra and Nagar Haveli
• Applicants must belong to SC/ST/OBC community.
• Applicants must be studying in class 9th-10th for SC/ST students and class 1st to 10th for OBC students.
• Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh for SC and OBC community students.
• Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2 lakh for ST community students.

• Aadhar Card of the student
• Applicant Bank account Passbook
• Applicant's Caste Certificate
• Income certificate as per your scholarship type.
• Mobile Number
• Passport Size Photograph of the Applicant
• Applicant's Previous Year Education Qualification certificate.
• Self-declaration certificate of the Applicant

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
• Step 2: As you get instructions will appear on the screen, read the instructions very carefully
• Step 3: Select continue button and application form will appear on the screen
• Step 4: Fill up the all required details as mentions
• Step 5: Enter the captcha code shown on the screen and press register button
• Step 6: Now login with the portal by using your login ID and choose apply button
• Step 7: Select the scheme to apply for and for the application will appear
• Step 8: Complete the application form, upload the documents as required and click submit button
• Step 9: Take print of the filled application for further use
