Scholarship Details
The scholarship is mainly for ST/SC students studying in pre-matric level. These schemes are primarily aimed to financially support the parents of the ST/SC children for the education so as to reduce the causes of school drop-out. In this scholarship the selective students will received various reward for their studies.
Award
For SC Students:-
- Scholarship-
- Day schooler will receive of INR 150 per month
- INR 150 per month for hostellers
- Books and Ad hoc grant-
- Day schooler will receive of INR 750 per annum
- INR 1000 per annum for hostellers
- An additional allowance of up to INR 240 for students with disabilities
For ST Students:-
- Scholarship -
- for day scholars will receive INR 225 per month
- for hostellers will receive INR 525 per month
- Book and Ad Hoc-
- for day scholars will receive INR 750
- for hostellers will receive INR 1,000
- allowance for students with disabilities
- Reader Allowance for Blind students INR 160
- Transport Allowance for students with disabilities INR 160 per month (day scholar)
- Escort Allowance for Severely Disabled (i.e. with 80% or higher disability) Day Scholars/Students with low extremity
- disability will have INR 160 per month
- Helper Allowance admissible to any of the hostel willing to extend help to a severely orthopedically handicapped
- student will receive INR 160 per month (hosteller)
- Coaching Allowance to Mentally Retarded and Mentally ill Students INR 240 per month
Eligibility
- The candidate must belongs to ST/SC community
- The candidate must be a domicile of Tripura
- The annual family income should not more than INR 2 lakhs
- The candidate not be getting any other centrally funded scholarship
- The applicant should be a regular student in a government school or government recognized school.

How To Apply
- Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
- Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking and 'Continue'.
- Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
- Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number).
- Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
- Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
- Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
- Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
