Scholarship Details

Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme launched by All India Council for Technical Education. The scholarship amount will be provided to those students who are pursuing Diploma course. Objective of this scheme is to help students pursuing higher education.

Award
  • For General Degree: Up to INR 30,000 per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution) Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student).
  • For Professional Degree: Up to INR 1.25 lakh per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution) Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student).
  • For MBBS/BDS or Equivalent Medical Streams: Up to INR 3 lakh per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution) Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student).
Eligibility
  • Students must be domicile of Union Territories of J&K.
  • Students who have passed the Class 12 examination from the J&K board or CBSE affiliated schools in J&K are eligible for this.
  • Students annual family income should have less than INR 8 lakh.
Documents Needed
  • Domicile certificate of J&K
  • Family Income Certificate (Issued by Tehsildar or equivalent)
  • Students Aadhaar card
  • Class 10th mark sheet of the student
  • Class 12th mark sheet of the student
  • Diploma Certificate (for lateral entry only)
  • Applicant must have valid Caste certificate for SC/ST/SEBC for claiming the reservation as per State Govt. Policy
  • Applicant must have valid disability certificate (if any)"

  • STEP: 5 Now apply for the prescribed scheme by clicking on the apply online button
  • STEP: 6 Fill up the Application form and upload details
  • STEP: 7 Successfully apply for the scholarship
