Scholarship Details
This scheme is for young professionals to have the opportunity and have hands-on experience in working in the field of international development. The fellowship aims to provide access to the tools that enable individuals to build a better quality of life. The selected fellows will spend 6 months to 1 year working in Prashanthagiri Village in Wayanad, India.
Award
The selected fellows will receive -
- Accommodation and board
- A modest stipend
- Travel costs to field placement
Eligibility
No eligibility requirements have been laid down for the fellowship, but an ideal candidate should have the following qualities:
- Entrepreneurial skills.
- Should be a team player.
- Should have a background in education/engineering/business/agriculture.
- Should be flexible and open-minded.
- Must be willing to take an initiative.
- Must be knowledgeable and passionate about business development, women empowerment, social entrepreneurship, sustainable engineering, farming, agriculture, natural resource management, education or teaching.
- An experience in Cross-culture will be preferred.
