Scholarship Details
Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna is a scheme provided by Directorate of Higher Education, the Government of Maharashtra. This initiative is especially for the students who have taken admission in technical courses of graduation and post graduation level. The scheme is specially designed for the registered labour or marginal landholder farmers’ child. The major objective of the government behind starting the scheme is to support the students who are from financially weaker section.
Award
- Child of registered labor/alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder):
- -For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City: ₹30,000 for 10 months
- -For students studying in an institute located in other areas: ₹20,000 for 10 months
- For students having an annual family income of up to ₹8,00,000:
- -For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City: ₹10,000 for 10 months
- -For students studying in an institute located in other areas: ₹8,000 for 10 months
Eligibility
- Applicant’s nationality should be an Indian.
- Applicant must have domicile of Maharashtra state.
- Applicant should be a bonafide student of Institute and have taken admission in professional or technical course of graduation degree, post graduation degree or diploma level.
- Applicant must not availing any other scholarship.
- Annual income of applicant’s parents/ guardian should not more than 8 Lakh rupees.
- Candidate should not have a gap of two or more than two years during the course duration.
Documents Needed
- Mark sheet of the applicant.
- Domicile Certificate of the applicant.
- Register Labor Certificate/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) Certificate (In case of not a child of Alpabudharak or Registered Labour then family income certificate).
- Undertaking “In the current year, not more than 2 beneficiaries from the same family”.
- CAP Related document of the applicant.
- Hosteller documents of the student.
- Attendance Certificate of the student.
- Gap Related Documents (if Gap is there).
- Previous year mark sheet of the student .

How To Apply
- Step 1: Visit the official website for the application form
- Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'.
- Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
- Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
- Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
- Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
- Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
