Scholarship Details

This scholarship is for students who are willing to pursue full-time Ph.D. program in the field of seminars, language, sociology, science and technology, agriculture and related sciences, commerce and management, technical and medical sciences. For male children, only two applicants of a family can apply. However, for girls, there is no such limitation.  

Award

Selected candidates will receive Rs.5000 per month

Eligibility

1. Be a permanent resident of Karnataka.

2. Age must be below 35 years.

3. Be engaged in a full-time Ph.D. program under research guidance from a statutory university or subordinate institution of Karnataka.

4. Must have at least 55% of the postgraduate degree.

5. The annual family income should be less than INR 2.5 Lac for fees allotment.

6. The annual family income should be less than INR 4.5 Lac for the monthly allowance.

7. For Pre 2(A), 3(A), 3(B) and other OBC - The annual family income should be less than INR 3.5 Lac for monthly allowance.

8. For Premium 1 - For Propaganda 2(A), 3(A), 3(B) and other OBC - The annual family income should be less than INR 1 Lac for fees allotment.

Documents Needed

Documents to be scanned on PDF Format with an online application. (Each record must be at maximum 300KB).

1. SSLC / 10th Class Score.

2. Caste and Income Certificate Letter (Must be Received by Tahsildars)

3. Residence Certificate letter (must be obtained by Tahsildar)

4. Masters degree scores.

5. Post Graduate Certificate (Convocation Certificate).

6. Ph.D. Registration Certificate.

7. Ph.D. Registration Fee Payment Vouchers.

8. Aadhaar card of the applicant.

9. A certificate of prescribed format from the institution / college / university / official institution concerned with not being selected for any other source.

10. The latest portrait of the student’s passport size and the scan below the student’s signature must be uploaded at the JPG Format (30KB).

11. The first page of bank pass book in the name of the student (bank name, bank account number, bank branch and IFSC code, MICR code information) should be scanned and uploaded."
