Scheme for Award of Stipend to ST Students

Scholarship Details

The scholarship is for ST students pursuing higher technical or professional courses. The objective of the scheme is to assist higher studies of ST students of Arunachal Pradesh. The selected students will receive a monthly stipend which will help them to study further. 

Award

Selected candidates get a monthly stipend of up to INR 1,400/- and Annual book grant of INR 1,000/-

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh
• The applicant must belong to the ST community
• The applicant must have a minimum of 75% or above attendance in the academic year
• The applicant  must have scored at least 60% marks in the last exam
• The applicant should pursuing higher technical/professional courses from a recognized institution or university
• Class 12 passed students who pursuing the following courses are eligible:
  • B.A. / B.Com / B.P.Ed, B.Sc, M.A. / M.Com / LLB/ M.P.Ed / LLM / MPMC / M.Ed.,
  • M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., B.Sc. Agri. / Horti / For / Seri / Fishery, Diploma (Engg.),
  • B.E./ B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, PGDMC, TT & HM (Diploma), BFA/MFA, B.Ed., CA, MTech, BVSc & AH.

Documents Needed

1. Copy of Identity Card
2. Caste Certificate (to prove the applicant belongs to ST community)
3. Mark sheet of the last year examination (self-attested copy)
4. Bank account details (copy of the first page of bank pass book)
5. Admission Receipt for the current academic session

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website.
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option.
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application.
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP.
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it.
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed.
• Step 7:  Submit the form and take print out.
