Scholarship to the Disabled Students

Scholarship Details

The main objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the physically handicapped school going students so that they can fulfill their necessary needs of purchase of study materials. The selection of the students will majorly depend upon the financial status and the need for the scholarship.

Award

• Class 1st to 7th: INR 1000/- per annum.
• Class 8th to 12th: INR 1500/- to INR 5000/- per annum.

Eligibility

• The applicant must belong to Gujarat.
• Applicant's disability must be more than 40%.
• The applicant must have passed immediate class examination with a minimum of 40% marks.
• The applicant must have satisfactory attendance in the previous examination.
• Annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 50,000/- per annum.

Documents Needed

• Passport size photograph of the applicant.
• Attested copy of previous year mark sheet.
• Disability identity card stating disability percentage.
• Income certificate issued by the competent authority.

How To Apply

Students wishing to apply can obtain the application forms from the official website.

For offline registration:

• Students can get the form free of cost from the District Social Security Officer's office.
• Fill all the details correctly.
• Attach the recent passport size photograph in the prescribed space.
• Before submitting the form, students must keep the photocopy of the filled-in application form for further references.
• The filled-in application form must be submitted to the District Social Security Officer's office before due dates.
• The school will be liable that all the details submitted by the student are correct.
