Scholarship Details
Shriram Automall Education Scholarship Programme is an initiative by Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) to support the education of needy children of truck drivers and commercial vehicle owners. The programme aims to eliminate any disruptions for students in pursuing education from 8th to 12th standard. Through this scheme, students will get the funds to complete their academic qualifications.
Award
- Applicants who are studying from classes 8th to 10th - Rs. 3000 per annum
- Applicants who are studying from classes 11th and 12th - Rs. 3500 per annum
- The applicant will receive a payee cheque in favor of the child.
Eligibility
- Students must be the children of drivers of commercial vehicles or small transporters.
- They must be students enrolled in classes 8 to 12.
- They must have scored more than 60% marks in the previous exam.
- The family's monthly income must not exceed INR 25,000.
Documents Needed
- Bonafide certificate.
- Recent mark sheet.
- Ration card or Aadhaar card of the parent.
- A copy of the RC book.
- A copy of the driving license of the parent.
