SOF- International General Knowledge Olympiad

Scholarship Details

SOF-International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) is an initiative by the Science Olympiad Foundation for students in Classes 1 to 10. It is a single-level exam that will be judged at four different levels namely, within the school, city level, zonal level, and international level. The selected students stand a chance to receive up to INR 50,000 and other benefits.

Award

The selected candidates will receive the following awards - 

International level awards - 

• 10 awards to first rank holders of INR 50,000 each, gold medal, and certificate of outstanding performance. 
• 10 awards to second rank holders of INR 25,000 each, silver medal, and certificate of outstanding performance. 
• 10 awards to third rank holders of INR 10,000 each, bronze medal, and certificate of outstanding performance. 

Zonal level awards - 

• A total of 260 awards to first rank holders of INR 5,000 each, gold medal, and certificate of zonal excellence. 
• A total of 260 awards to second-rank holders of INR 2,500 each, silver medal, and certificate of zonal excellence.
• Total of 260 awards to third rank holders of INR 1,000 each, bronze medal, and certificate of zonal excellence. 
• Total of 1820 awards to students who rank from 4th to 10th comprising gifts worth INR 1,000 each, a medal of distinction, certificate of distinction, and certificate of zonal excellence. 
• A total of 3900 awards to students who rank from 11th to 25th comprising a certificate of distinction, a medal of distinction, certificate of zonal excellence. 
• All the participants ranking above 26+ will receive a participation certificate.

Eligibility

Students must be studying in Class 1 to 10.

Documents Needed

• Passport-size photograph.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Family income proof.
• Bank passbook details.
• Qualified educational mark sheets/certificates.
• Other relevant documents.

Note - The prospectus containing the registration forms will be sent to all schools registered with SOF. The schools that have not registered can also request for prospectus by sending an email at - info@sofworld.org or by calling - 0124-4951200. The schools must return the registration forms to SOF, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date at the below-mentioned address -
