The SVMCM Scholarship, also known as Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, is a government program in West Bengal that provides financial support to deserving students to pursue higher education. Eligibility

1.  Check Eligibility: Keep an eye on the eligibility conditions of the institution controller, one should make sure to go through them thoroughly before applying for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship. To register this eligibility scheme, the exact scheme and the implementing organization could be the differentiating criteria. Common eligibility requirements may include-

  • Academic qualifications: Students with scores or grades that are above 60% (the minimum percentage of marks or grade point average) in their previous academic examinations are eligible.

  • Family income: The income limit could be thrown in for eligibility, however, the priority would surely be to the students that come from lower economic class.

  • Domicile: Scholarships are restricted to residents of West Bengal states or regions only.

  • Course of study: The scholarship is allowed to candidates pursuing 10, 12, bachelor, PG, etc. Hence, it applies to all students.

Documents Needed

To apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, you must collect the application documents in physical form. Commonly requested documents may include:

  • Transcripts or mark sheets appear at the end to show the overall academics.

  • Income certificates or proof of family income, it is helpful to verify that the assistance provided is eligible for it.

  • Permanent residence card or a proof of settlement.

  • Valid identity ID (Whatever Aadhaar, Voter ID card, or passport)

  • Passport-size photographs

  • Any other documents specified by the scholarship provider

How To Apply

Students must go through the SVMCM Scholarship 2023-24 Application process listed below to avail this scheme of scholarship.

  • Step 1 - Applicants will be required to fill the SVMCM 2023-24 registration form that is available on the SVMCM scholarship official website - svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.

  • Step 2 - An Applicant ID will be generated after submitting the SVMCM registration form 2023-24. Use it to Swami Vivekananda Scholarship login and fill in the whole SVMCM application form 2023-24. Also, upload the scanned copies of photograph and signatures.

  • Step 3 - After submitting the SVMCM application form 2023-24, the ‘Scanned Supporting Document Upload’ page will appear on the screen. Students will be required to upload the documents.

  • Step 4 - After successfully uploading the documents, check the whole application form in view mode and then click on ‘Submit Application’ to complete the SVMCM 2023-24 application process.
