Scholarship Details

The scholarship is available for the students currently studying in the Arunachal Pradesh state and belonging to the ST category. The main aim of this scholarship is to support the education of those who belongs to the backward class of our society.

Award
  • Scholarship of INR 150 per month for Day scholars
  • Scholarship of INR 350 per month for Hostellers
  • Books and Ad hoc grant:
    • Day scholars - INR 750 per annum
    • Hostellers - INR 1,000 per annum
  • An additional allowance will be given up to INR 240 per month to ST students with disabilities
Eligibility
  • The applicant must be a domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The applicant must belong to ST category.
  • The applicant must be studying in Class 9 or 10.
  • The applicant must not be availing any other Centrally-funded Pre Matric Scholarship.
  • The applicant must be a regular, full-time student studying in a Government School or in a School recognized by the Government or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
  • Annual family income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 2 lakh.
Documents Needed
  1. Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card.
  2. Domicile certificate.
  3. Income certificate.
  4. Caste certificate (ST) duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer.
  5. School/college current year bonafide certificate.
  6. Hostel certificate (for hosteller students).
  7. Mark sheet / Certificate of last year examination.
  8. School leaving certificate .
  9. Disability certificate (in case of disabled persons).
  10. Copy of the first page of bank passbook.

How To Apply
  • Step 1: Visit the official website.
  • Step 2: Go to the New registration option.
  • Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application.
  • Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP.
  • Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it.
  • Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed.
  • Step 7:  Submit the form and take print out.
