Scholarship Details
This is an educational scheme provided by the Department of Minority Welfare for the students who are studying in Secondary and Higher Secondary level and belonging from minority community. Selected students will received financial assistance for pursuing their education.
Award
Selected scholar will received cash award under this scheme.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be a permanent resident of Kerala.
- Applicant must have Urdu as a subject.
- Applicant must be enrolled in government/ government aided/ self financing School of Kerala.
- The Applicant must be a student of SSLC or HSC/VHSE.
- Applicant must have previous year academic record.
- Annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed as set by the department.
Documents Needed
- SSLC certificate.
- Aadhaar card.
- Address proof.
- Date of birth proof.
- Front page of bank passbook.
- Passport size photograph.

- STEP 1: Open the official website of the Department of Minority Welfare.
- STEP 2: From home page of the portal go to the type of scholarship section.
- STEP 3: Click on Urdu scholarship option and online link along with instruction PDF will appears.
- STEP 4: Select the apply online option to open the application form.
- STEP 5: Start filling the details as required.
- STEP 6: Complete the application form and upload all the significant documents.
- STEP 7: Read the declaration and tick the checkbox.
- STEP 8: Enter the security code appears in the image and click submit button.
