Education Future International Scholarship 2025

The Education Future International Scholarship 2025 is a merit-based scholarship program designed to support Indian students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies at recognized universities or colleges outside India. This unique initiative, established in 2020 by the Education Future organization, is funded by contributions from past scholarship recipients worldwide. It embodies the concept of giving back to society by providing financial aid to academically bright students who face financial constraints, enabling them to access world-class education and contribute to a brighter, smarter future. The scholarship has been recognized globally, listed among the top 5 impact scholarships in the Global Education Monitoring Report 2022 by UNESCO under the category of "Examining non-state actors’ contributions to International Higher Education Scholarships."

To be eligible for the Education Future International Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Must be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport.

• Academic Performance: Must have scored a minimum of 60% in both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. For Master’s program applicants, Bachelor’s degree performance is also considered, but Class 10 and 12 marks remain relevant.

• Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate a lack of means to self-fund their education abroad and should plan to finance at least 50% of their education through an education loan.

• Course and Institution: Must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course at a recognized university or college outside India. The scholarship is not available for studies within India.

• Course Start Date: The selected course must commence between January 1, 2025, and October 31, 2025.

• Fields of Study: The scholarship is open to all subjects and academic disciplines offered by the universities.

The application process for the Education Future International Scholarship 2025 is entirely online and consists of three rounds:

1. Round 1: Online Application

   • Applicants must submit an online application form through the official Education Future International Scholarship portal (https://application.education-future.org/).

   • The form requires personal, educational, directional, and financial information, along with a short essay explaining why the applicant deserves the scholarship and how they plan to use it.

   • No offline submission of documents or forms is required.

   • Selected candidates are notified within one week if they advance to the next round.

2. Round 2: Statement of Purpose Submission

   • Shortlisted applicants receive a set of questions to answer, allowing the scholarship jury to better understand the applicant’s goals and motivations.

3. Round 3: Scholarship Committee Interview

   • Finalists are invited for an interview with the scholarship committee.

   • Final results are declared within 14 days of the interview.

• If an education loan process has already been started with a bank or NBFC, applicants must mention this in the application form.

• Applications Open: September 1, 2024

• Application Deadline: Rolling basis, with a final cutoff of July 20, 2025. Early application is strongly recommended for timely consideration.

• Final Results Announcement: Around the first week of September 2025.

The selection process is highly competitive and merit-based, focusing on the following:

• Academic Merit: Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 and 12, along with strong academic performance in undergraduate studies (for Master’s applicants).

• Motivational Statement: The Statement of Purpose is evaluated to assess the applicant’s goals, passion, and alignment with the scholarship’s vision.

• Interview: The final interview determines the recipients based on their responses and overall fit.

• Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial constraints and a plan to cover at least 50% of expenses through an education loan.

• Selected candidates are notified via email and contact number provided in the application within 14 days of selection. They must accept the terms and conditions in writing and submit any required documents (e.g., final admit copy) within 14 days. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the scholarship, and an alternative recipient may be selected.
